Sally was born in London in 1968 and now lives and works in Gloucestershire.

Following a Foundation Course in Art and Design, Sally went on to study glass design and worked with other master glass makers before opening her own studio in 1999, since when she has devised an original combination of simple but ingenious casting, polishing and cutting procedures for delivering statements in glass. She is able to control a range of demanding techniques to the point where they merge into an organic whole. Each piece has its own distinct personality and mood and it is easy to befriend these abstract creations and incorporate them into one’s life.

Sally creates what she refers to as ‘living spaces’ within cast glass, exploring the metaphoric possibilities of space. She relies heavily on instinct and has the rare gift of understanding how to energise glass from within by trapping light and making it the nerve centre of her sculptural forms.

Sally’s unique and innovative work is highly desirable and can be found in important private and public collections throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, and Europe.
